(PHILADELPHIA) A vendor's manufacturing change has moved Kids Dinosaur of the Month Club to replace one of its most beloved offerings - Archaeopteryx, or "Archie" as Ptyler Pterodactyl calls him.
"The manufacturer had a change in their production and notified us that Archie would no longer be available. Amy Apatosaurus and I did some work and have found a terrific new feathered dinosaur - Anzu Wyliel. "Ant" as I call him is also known as "Demon Chicken". He was pretty ferocious," says Kids Dinosaur of the Month Club Founder Ptyler Pterodactyl..
Members will see Anzu Wyliel and Archie together in Box #10 as the last several Archaeopteryx books land. Shortly, the switch will be made to all Anzu Wyliel as Archie is retired with honors.
There are 16 different Dino Boxes and featured dinosaurs include: Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Pteranodon, Allosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Anzu Wyliele, Sauropelta, Apatosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Acrocanthosaurus and Dilophosaurus. A "toob" of dinosaur skulls and baby dinosaurs from Safari Ltd. represent two other Dino Boxes. A Dino Binder featuring a cover by renowned Bucks County artist, Ashby Saunders, is also available as Box #16 although many Members order the Dino Bonder with their first order to give a place to store the coloring pages and personalized items. Of course, the Dino Binder features the Member's name on the inside front pocket.
Kids Dinosaur of the Month Club encourages children to read, learn and play using their imagination. Each monthly Dino Box includes a personalized letter, a high-quality dinosaur toy from Safari Ltd, dinosaur books from Dover and Penguin as well as a dinosaur sticker book from Dover. Members also receive a collectible Dino Card in most Dino Boxes that is chock-full of facts about that month's dinosaur. Dino Box #1 also includes a personalized Membership Certificate and Dino Box #2 features a personalized Membership Card.
